Accessibility statement

What works on supodo.com, when signing in and for the newsletter – and what does not yet.

supodo is a platform for inclusive sport. Accessibility is not a side issue for us, it is the core of what we build. So we say openly here where we meet the requirements and where we do not yet.

What supodo offers

supodo is a platform for events, organisations and knowledge pages in disability, inclusion and senior sport. On supodo.com we introduce the platform, receive messages through the contact form and send a newsletter.

What this statement covers

This statement covers three areas:

  • supodo.com – this website.
  • auth.supodo.com – the sign-in pages. This is where you sign in to use supodo manager.
  • mail.supodo.com – the pages you open from our newsletter emails: confirming a subscription, unsubscribing, reading a newsletter in the browser.

The three areas are at different stages. Each point below therefore names the area it applies to.

The supodo apps each have their own statement, because they are at different stages:

Accessibility status

The three areas are partially conformant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means most requirements are met, but some are not. The outstanding points are listed below.

Non-accessible content

We know about the following points. Each one names the area it applies to.

  • supodo.com: the button for language and reading register shows “Deutsch • Standard”, but screen readers and voice control know it by a different name. Anyone who calls it by the text they can see will not reach it. Affects WCAG 2.5.3 (level A). It comes from our shared component set, so the fix there applies to every supodo product.

Not yet tested

These points cannot be judged from a review of the source code alone. We have not yet tested them with real assistive technology and can therefore make no claim about them:

  • Whether supodo.com can be used at 400 % zoom, or 320 pixels wide, without scrolling sideways.
  • Whether the keyboard focus is clearly visible on the green background.
  • Whether the alternative texts for images really describe what can be seen.
  • Whether the text can be enlarged without content being cut off, and whether foreign-language words are read out correctly.
  • supodo.com: how long the spam check in our forms takes on older, slower devices. It computes on the visitor's own device; we have not yet measured how heavy that computation is there.
  • mail.supodo.com: whether the confirmation and unsubscribe pages work well with a screen reader.
  • auth.supodo.com: pages behind the password prompt – change password, set up a passkey, the account menu – have so far only been checked in the design, not on the running site. A manual check of the passkey rows is still outstanding.

How we tested

This statement is based on an internal self-assessment. We review the source code, measure automatically with axe-core 4.12 across the WCAG 2.0/2.1/2.2 level A and AA rule set – with no rules disabled and no page regions excluded – and recalculate by hand, using the WCAG formula, the contrast ratios an automated check does not judge. Last measured: supodo.com and auth.supodo.com on 4 September 2026, mail.supodo.com on 15 August 2026, there additionally with a full keyboard walk-through of the subscribe and unsubscribe paths. No screen-reader testing and no external audit has taken place for any of the three areas.

What we will do next

Next up is testing with assistive technology: the screen-reader pass for supodo.com and for the newsletter pages, and the manual check of the passkey rows on auth.supodo.com. We will update this page as soon as the status changes.
